I said I was going to do better and then pretty much dropped off the planet. I’m sorry. It’s the same old excuse. Life. I’m crazy busy, and my muse has pretty much left the building. The weather is up and down, and I’ve been trying to actually walk at a decent pace that qualifies as exercise when I do get out and walk. I’m pretty slow when writing. If not I’d probably be tripping all over the place. With my mind on writing and staring at my phone, I walk at a leisurely pace but at least I’m doing it. Right? I’ve got around 3,000 words written for the next chapter of At That Moment though so as soon as I get it finished I’ll get it out to you.
Why the update? Well, I don’t like to post just to post. I don’t want you ignoring my post because they are just my ramblings. That’s what my Facebook group is for right? So this post is to let you know I’m trying hard to write, but life is getting in the way along with my damn allergies. My muse ran away and only sporadically peeks her head out. Don’t give up on me. I’m trying, and I feel like a huge failure for not whipping out chapters left and right like some writers I see.
Still you guys seem to remember me even with my shitty writing and posting schedule. Meridian sent me a message to a link earlier today, and I was so shocked. I had no clue what it was when I first saw it. You, my fantastic readers, nominated me for not one but four awards. I didn’t even know their awards stuff was happening.
It is truly an honor to be nominated with all the amazing other nominees. I know I won’t win, but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for nominating me. You guys rock!!! THANK YOU!!!
For your patience in reading this post and nominating me here are some new pics of Alex because it wouldn’t be a post without pics of Alex.
