Hiatus

I know it already seems like I’ve been on a hiatus, but I wanted to let you all know what’s going on in my life.  I’ve heard after turning 40 it’s the best years of your life.  Well, so far since I’ve turned 40 my luck has gone the other way.  I had my account hacked, and they used over $800 to buy gift cards. That was okay, not really, but I got over it by getting new bank cards and changing all my passwords so that I now have no clue what my passwords are for pretty much all sites.  Next, someone broke into my husband’s truck and used the garage door opener to open our garage and steal quite a bit out of our garage including my purse and my son’s wallet that was in my car.  So now we feel unsafe since they have our id’s and have the keys to one of our cars.  We changed the locks and garage door codes but still it’s left us uneasy. Along with that, we had to cancel bank cards, close accounts, and open new ones.  Today, I spent the day in the E.R. because my husband started to have seizures for no apparent reason. I can’t take any more stress. I may very well have to find a new job now since my husband can’t drive himself for the next 6 months and he is the main worker at our family business where he needs to drive.  I’ve had other more personal things go on that I am not yet ready to deal with or tell people about but I’m done. I can’t take anymore. All this has happened in a little over a month. I may lose my mind if anything else happens. I wanted to let you know that I am not done writing but my life and my head are not in the game of writing right now, and I don’t know when it will.  Thank you to my loyal followers and friends. Your support means a lot, and I hate to let you down.  I’ll be back.

Thank you for your time.

Love,

  5. You are a stronger person then I would be. I would have hurt someone body by now. You take all the time you need and we will be thinking of you. I can only speak for myself but I think there will be a lot of us waiting for your return. Take care of yourself.

  6. Oh Honey, you’re not letting us down…you just take care of yourself! That is an awful lot of trauma for one person in such a short time and I’m sorry you’ve had to go through all of it. Please just do what you need to do for yourself and your family. Writing is great, but other things in life are far more important. Hang in there and I’m sure you’ll get through it and find that you are much stronger than you realize. In the meantime I’ll be praying for you.

  8. Well, hell, that was the LAST thing you need. 🙁 I hope Mr Gyllene is going to be ok! As much as I adore your writing – and you know I think you’re an amazing writer and that I love your stories – now is by far the time to put yourself and your family first. We’ll hold the fort down and welcome you with open arms when the time is right for your return, but until then, take care. Let me know if you need anything. <3

  19. Oh, sweetie. Lot’s of virtual hugs to you. Praying for things to settle down and get better. You just do what you need to do for your family.

  20. Oh sweetie, I’m so sorry. My hubby started having seizures for no apparent reason either years ago. So I totally get it. The driving, the worried thoughts. But we’ve figured it out. It takes time, but it can be resolved very quickly. It gets better, I swear! We can talk later about specifics if you want. I love your writing but sometimes RL demands more attention. I adore you, please let me know if I can do anything at all to help. *Hugs*

  21. I’m so sorry for you and your family! That’s a ton of stress. Never mind us, we understand. You concentrate on your family and feeling better. Just remember that we care and we all wish you and yours well and safe. *HUGS*

  22. Take your time to get your world on an even keel, then when your ready come back we will be here to read your lovely stories.

  23. So sorry! That’s a lot of stress in a very short period of time. Wishing you much love, coffee, chocolate, Skarsporn, booze…whatever you need. You take all the time you need to get RL back under control and we’ll be waiting faithfully for when you’re ready to come back.

In the meantime, I’ll keep you and your family in my thoughts.

  24. So sorry for all the trouble you’ve been having. Take care of yourself and your family! I hope things get better soon. Your faithful fans will be here when you return!

  25. That’s way more bad stuff than I would wish on my worst enemy. Having a break in is really destabilizing. And your husband – I have a friend that went through this recently and it’s tough to not drive when you are so used to being independent. That is a pile of bad stuff that shouldn’t happen over 20 years. I hope you have good real life support – and we are all here too! big virtual hugs for you – Susan

  26. So sorry you’re going through so much especially all at once. I wish your husband a full and speedy recovery and I hope life has started turning around for you and your family. I wish you the best, I’m sending positive energy your way. Take care.
